The Global Partnership for Civic Engagement exists to help drive systemic innovation for a better world and to make it easier for more of humanity to participate personally in the process.
Our global civilization is like the Titanic. However, unlike in 1912, this time we know in advance we are going to hit the icebergs (environmental, political, technological, economic, and cultural - affecting all the key aspects of civilization) and we know we have very little time before it is too late. When one faces any emergency, there is a logic to follow: prioritize the best possible solutions, making sure that these solutions are up to the scale of the emergency, and focus one's energy and resources on their urgent implementation.
The Titanic
Launched in a high-level meeting at the UN Office for Partnerships just before the pandemic, the Global Partnership is a focused, practical initiative to get the best programs and ideas deployed at the scale necessary, with the urgency required.
